I hope so too, and I genuinely believe that’s the way we’re headed. From what I can tell, Gen Z and younger barely even think about these things — this is normal way to experience being human.
I’m sorry your experience with sharing with someone wasn’t what you would’ve hoped. It’s honestly surprising for me to hear, as few people in my life would ever look strangely on a mother who was also bisexual. Granted, I live in New York City, so I may not be pulling from a fair sample.
I hope you find comfort and feelings of acceptance soon.
And I do think, as you said, that our children will find themselves in a time when this is no longer an issue.
